You know the feeling – it’s time for you to hit the gym and you just don’t feel like going. We all have the days where we plan to work out and know that we should, but just don’t want to. When I have that kind of day I always remind myself about the benefits of exercise and how great I feel when I’m done. So when I don’t feel like working out, I put on my shoes and do it anyway! And guess what? Usually this is one of my best workouts! It’s like when you don’t feel like going to the party, but you go anyway… and a night you feared turns into a great one. What I’m trying to say is that once you get going, you’re generally glad you did. And when you’re done, you feel even better. You feel proud and you feel like a winner.
The only way to make exercise a habit is to do it– consistently. So next time you don’t feel like going to the gym, first remember WHY you started this in the first place and second GO… ANYWAY. 🙂 Just get yourself moving, even if it’s only for a few minutes. I can promise you’ll be glad you did!
