The only thing standing between you and what you want out of life is the WILL to try and FAITH to believe it’s possible.
Good morning! I challenge you to give it a TRY. If you’re just beginning to exercise, start with own your pace and progress slowly. But before you rush to your workout, check your fitness level! Tests will help you find out how strong, fit, and flexible you are so you can set realistic fitness goals and determine what kind of workout regimen is right for you. Once you know where you’re starting from, you can plan where you want to go.
For those more advanced… don’t stress out if a certain exercise is too much for your current fitness level. If you find it difficult to do, don’t give up, just adapt it. You can drop the weights, do less repetitions… there are modifications for each move, but always do it at a speed that is comfortable for you.
If you’re looking to shed pounds more quickly, focus on compound exercises such as Squat to Overhead Press, Single-Leg Dumbbell Row, Step-Up With Bicep Curl, Deadlifts, Plank, Superman…these exercises work big muscles and small muscles together at the same time which burns more calories and builds more muscle than if you spent your time doing simple isolation exercises, such as bicep curls and triceps extensions, which only work one muscle and use one joint at a time.
You are working out at home and you’re not sure what the moves are? You can find them all on Google or Youtube.
“You will never change your life until you change something you do daily. The secret of your success is found in your daily routine.”
Happy Monday to you all! Have a great day! 🙂
