This quote reminds us that perfection can be an enemy of progress. However, that doesn’t mean you should be sloppy. I believe you should always strive to become better at what you do, but you have to start and finish. A ten minute workout is not ideal, but is far better than being a couch potato. The key to weight loss success is not perfection, but getting things DONE. It doesn’t matter how long you workout lasts, what matters is that you’re being mindful during your fitness routine and not just watching the clock, rushing through your workout or thinking about all the things you would rather be doing instead.
I am a firm believer that if you follow through on your goals and put some effort into fitness and have a little bit of self-confidence, you can lose weight and get fitter and stronger. “Following through is one of the most challenging tasks, specifically when it comes to something you are doing for yourself.” That’s why you should decide if you really want it and put doubt and fear of failure aside. That is, motivation to lose weight and exercise has to come from inside of you. Don’t do it to please your husband, family or friends. Do it for YOU.
HAPPY SUNDAY! 🙂
