Love Your Body (Throught Thick and Thin)

My great hope for us as young women is to start being kinder to ourselves so that we can be kinder to each other. To stop shaming ourselves and other people for things we don’t know the full story on — whether someone is too fat, too skinny, too short, too tall, too loud, too quiet, too anything. There’s a sense that we’re all ‘too’ something, and we’re all not enough…I hope we can be supportive of each other and try to really have each other’s backs, especially when we don’t know the whole story.” – Emma Stone

Happines doesn’t —nor should it—depend on your weight. If you’re not happy with who you are now, you sure won’t be when you lose those pounds.  Your emotional well-being will not improved by being slender. Don’t let your weight effect your spirits. You won’t find happiness in a  smaller pair of jeans. Happines lies in you. It means being comfortable in your own skin. Love your body just the way it is while working for what you want. Weight loss is all about your health not your worth.
