Working out is a mental game. It’s about being better than you were yesterday, which means it’s about pushing past where it hurts, when your legs are telling you to quit. So how do you get through the tough part? What’s the thing that pushes you to keep going even when your legs are on fire? Do you have something you tell yourself? I usually tell myself, “Just five more squats” or “Just one more song” or “Just ten more minutes and I’m done,” or I visualize my tummy getting toner and my body looking sexy in my new little black dress. 🙂
Remember – you can do anything for 1 minute! It’s all mind over matter.
