FitWatch suggests that if you’re feeling discouraged about your workout routine because you aren’t making as much progress as you’d like. Rather than letting this be an excuse for not losing weight, you can talk yourself into a better attitude by reminding yourself that persistence will help you make more progress, that no one gets fit in just a few short days, and so on.

Switch your thoughts to kinder and positive self-talk that will coach you toward the body you really want. My experience is that focusing on the positive instead of the negative makes all the difference. Be aware of the power of the mind. Positive thoughts are the tools to carry you to the end.
