There are 1,440 minutes in a day. Schedule 30 of them for a workout, even if it is just walking briskly, swimming for recreation or bicycling. It’s much harder to find a valid excuse when you look at it that way. We waste so much time on Facebook or watching television. So if you have time for posting and texting you can sure find time to work out. I know that between work, family, and other demands finding 30 minutes for physical activity looks like mission impossible sometimes. When that happens try to build your workout into your routine chores. Mow the lawn, wash the car, rake the backyard, do the housework or clean the house. Did you know that tasks such as sweeping the floor, washing windows and cleaning the garage can burn more than 250 calories an hour?
If you can’t do 30 or 60 minutes at a time, break it up into smaller exercise sessions. It all counts! So lace up your shoes and get moving! No excuses!
Good morning to you all! Fit in a workout no matter where you are and have a great day! 🙂
