In order to drop a jean size, you need to lose excess body fat, but you can’t lose fat from a specific area or body part. If  you’re trying to lose belly or thigh fat, focus on dropping pounds in general—not just in one area. Regular  workout won’t help you spot reduce, but it will help you lose more fat and less muscle.

 Weight loss requires:
– HEALTHY EATING: opt for lean proteins, whole grains, low fat dairy, and eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. What’s also important is that you don’t drink your caloires!
– GETTING ON A CONSISTENT FITNESS REGIMEN: always combine strength and cardio training. Cardio exercise can help you burn off excess calories and improve your heart health. Opt for HIIT cardio. For example, sprinting for 30 seconds, then walking for 60 seconds. HIIT cardio increases your metabolism so you’ll burn more calories for up to 24 hours after interval training.
On the other hand strength training helps you build lean muscle and it’s an important part of an overall fitness program. You’ll get stronger, leaner and healthier. As you gain muscle, your body begins to burn calories more efficiently. The more toned your muscles, the easier it is to control your weight.
