Overcome the habit of weekend overindulgence by starting your day out right. Eat a healthy and nutritious breakfast. Chew your food slowly. It takes 15-20 minutes for your brain to signal your stomach that it’s full, so take your time. Always keep an eye out for portion sizes, especially when it comes to desserts. Drink water rather than sugary drinks. Avoid drinking your calories! Soda is not only high in calories, but it’s also high in fructose, which stimulates the appetite. Try to get in as much exercise as you can over the weekend. Walking, jogging, cleaning the house, dancing or simple housework routine will all help you burn off those extra calories.
