
Put a dollar in the jar for every mile you walk or run for, for every time you complete a workout or reach a certain goal. And when you hit your weight loss goal, say 10, 15, 20 lbs lost, etc., then you take that money and treat yourself. Find a reward that works for you. It could be something you wished for a long time. Just don’t reward yourself with food.
Don’t forget to put a jar in a visible place so you can see it on a daily basis. That way you can track your progress. I believe you’ll be at the gym more often than the trainers.
I still like to treat myself. Usually I shop ’til I drop. :)
